Every year, communities in Madagascar struggle with water shortages during the dry season. Offshore is taking action by organizing a kitesurf crossing across the North Sea, using this challenge to fund 2000 people of clean drinking water for the village of Tsiandamba.

The challenge

Kitesurfing Across the North Sea

Between August and September, our team will kitesurf across the North Sea, from the Belgian coast to the UK, covering more than 120 km of open water. The exact start and finish points will depend on wind and currents, ensuring the highest success rate.

Battling strong tides, shifting winds, and unpredictable weather, this crossing is a true test. But we’re not doing it just for the challenge—every kilometer we ride brings clean water to Madagascar.
